Hi there! I'm Charlie Carpenter, I have a First-Class Honours Degree in Computer Science from Durham University, where I received the Individual Project Prize for the highest-graded dissertation. I am now currently working towards an MSc in Signal Processing and Machine Learning from Singapore's Nanyang Technological University. I bring both technical expertise and a drive for impactful solutions. My projects span blockchain-based ticketing systems, augmented reality tools, and machine learning applications, each designed to address real-world challenges through innovative technology.
Diverse Work Experience: My professional journey has involved collaborating across global teams and delivering user-centered solutions in fast-paced environments. From software for major sporting events to user-driven applications, I am adept at managing complex projects with a clear focus on results.
Award-Winning Projects: I’ve developed an AR spellchecker that won top prize at the Durham Hackathon, a blockchain ticketing app to combat fraud, and several machine learning tools. Each project reflects my commitment to harnessing technology for positive impact utilising a broad range of different programming language.
Leadership & Management: My experiences have equipped me with strong leadership skills and a systematic approach to project management. I’m comfortable leading teams, coordinating projects, and optimising processes to ensure seamless and successful outcomes.
